Hang the eucalyptus upside down by tying it to your shower head with twine. When you run your shower, the steam will rise up towards the eucalyptus, filling your bathroom with the most refreshing, relaxing scent. Plus, the added greens are lovely on the eyes. You’ll definitely feel a little closer to nature.”

HOMEMADE MOSQUITO TRAP:Items needed:1 cup of water 1/4 cup of brown sugar1 gram of yeast1 2-liter bottleHOW:1. Cut the plastic bottle in half.2. Mix brown sugar with hot water. Let cool. When cold, pour in the bottom half of the bottle.3. Add the yeast. No need to mix. It creates carbon dioxide, which attracts mosquitoes.4. Place the funnel part, upside down, into the other half of the bottle, taping them together if desired.5. Wrap the bottle with something black, leaving the top uncovered, and place it outside in an area away from your normal gathering area. (Mosquitoes are also drawn to the color black.)I can’t imagine how many of these you’d need to control the mosquito population around my camp, but just making a few would be quite a cool science / nature activity.

2 large old bananas + 1 cup of quick oats. You can add in choc chips, coconut, or nuts if you’d like. Then 350º for 15 mins. THAT’S IT! would be good for a grab and go bfast with some fruit (=

Ingredients:

Tubed biscuits rolled out flat

Chunk’o’meat

Melted butter

Directions:

Pop open your tasty biscuits (or go old school and make some dough from scratch) and roll them out into thin circles. I recommend the small generic biscuits, they roll to the perfect size. Take your meat of choice (needs to be cooked) and place it in the middle of your dough circle. Then proceed to make three dainty slits along either side. The fun part is ‘braiding’ the dough- don’t know how to braid, no problem, this is a fake braid! Gently overlap the dough one side at a time, securing it with a pinch until you have braided the entire piece of meat (braided meat…. wha?). Brush some butter on top, pop it in the oven at 350 for about 10-15 minutes (my oven is cray cray so timing is not my specialty) until they are puffy and golden brown! BOOM, the end.

P.S. be creative, I have done this with pepperoni and cheese (messy but yummy), bacon and eggs, added spices on top, made different dipping sauces, the list is endless!!! Bake on my friends!
